100,000 H1B visas every year.

Some clap. Some panic.

But the real question is bigger than any yearly lottery.

Why does the richest country on earth with 330 million people, still need to import brains to run its tech industry?

Was USA truly out of talent?

Or did it quietly destroy its own talent pipeline?

The uncomfortable truth is that USA didn’t run out of people. It ran out of will to train them.

Wall Street Brain Drain

  • The best Ivy League grads don’t build rockets or cure cancer. They build trading algorithms and quant funds.
  • Engineering pays in prestige, finance pays in millions.
